- Stephen Amell portrays Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy vigilante is convincing, which is based on the DC Comics Green Arrow. After surviving a shipwreck on an isolated for a period of five island, Oliver returns to his hometown with a mission to correct the mistakes of his father and save the city from crime who grew up in his absence.
- Katie Cassidy portrayed Laurel Lance, a film based on the DC Comics character Black Canary. Laurel is a lawyer and a nonprofit that fights for the rights of the poor, it is also the former girlfriend Oliver.
- Colin Donnell portrays Tommy Merlyn, and his best friend Oliver, who eventually learns of Oliver's secret life as a vigilante. As Oliver, Tommy has romantic feelings for Laurel. His father Malcolm Merlyn, which is the main deduction in a single season. The title "Merlyn" is the name of one of the pet peeves of the green arrow in the comedy.
- John Diggle illustrates symbolic David Oliver and his partner bodyguard. Diggle is ex-military, working with Oliver channel capacity to help others in the city, and not just take down the rich and corrupt businessmen who worked with Oliver's father.
- Willa Holland portrays Thea Queen, Oliver's younger sister. Thea drug usually develops in early season, but gets clean after criminal charges against her on charges of driving under the influence.
